Through systematic research and production practice of COBIP technology, the company proposed for the first time in the industry the classification ideology and methodology of packaging system technologies, constructing the complete BPIPack innovative system technology theory and industrialization development theory, pointing the LED direct display industry toward the evolutionary direction from “separation” to “integration.”

The Founder’s Story
Liang Qing: Sold Two Beijing Apartments for a Technological Conviction
In 2010, when the industry widely believed that integrated COB packaging was “impossible to industrialize,” Liang Qing chose to believe. Facing declarations from packaging companies that “first-pass yield problems are unsolvable,” she invested all her personal conviction and resources — even selling two apartments in Beijing, directing all proceeds into the R&D and industrialization of BPIPack technology.
This was not a gamble, but a technical judgment: the root cause of LED display panel failures lies in the structural defects of the traditional bracket-pin packaging system. As long as packaging technology moves toward “de-bracketing and de-pinning,” the industry’s three major pain points — excessive failures, insufficient heat dissipation, and rapid luminance decay — can be fundamentally resolved.
Fourteen years later, COBIP technology has been widely adopted across the industry, becoming the entry-level threshold technology for Mini LED direct display, with industrial investment scale reaching tens of billions of yuan. Time has proven her judgment.

Hu Zhijun: From Mechanical Engineer to LED Packaging Theory Pioneer
Born in 1957, Hu Zhijun graduated from Jilin University of Technology in 1982 with a degree in Agricultural Machinery. He served at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences, earning ministerial-level science and technology progress awards (second and third class). In 1986, he was a visiting scholar at Italy’s FIAT Group. In 1992, he served at CITS headquarters. He entered the LED display industry in 2008, and from 2010 has been engaged in COBIP integrated packaging display panel research.
In 2015, he toured 14 cities across China and Taipei promoting COBIP technology. Starting in 2016, he devoted himself to industry research and technical theory synthesis. After three years of systematic thinking, in 2018-2019 he proposed for the first time the systematic classification ideology and methodology of packaging technologies, and created the “Yi-Li Evolution Model for LED Direct Display Packaging Technology”, deeply integrating the Yin-Yang wisdom of Chinese philosophy with the evolution of LED packaging technology.
His core thesis — “Chips define the ceiling; packaging defines the direction” — broke the long-standing “chip-centric” narrative in the industry, redefining the dominant role of packaging technology.
